Assistant Director- Neighborhood Center

Job Summary:
University Settlement is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our Neighborhood Center team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the Program Director and overseeing the integration of older adult services across our sites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality programs aimed at keeping older adults healthy, happy, and connected to their community.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure program quality meets contract mandates and workloads.
- Conduct participant outreach and intakes, providing case assistance and referrals as needed.
- Timely report to funders and partners, ensuring data entry and monitoring of program outcomes.
- Ensure the center is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, scheduling and reporting facilities issues as necessary.
- Network and develop relationships with outside partners, program collaborators, and the Tenant Association.
- Support integration of all older adult services settlement-wide and within the Neighborhood Center and Satellite sites.
- Assume day-to-day responsibility for program operations in the absence of the Program Director.
- Supervise staff, volunteers, and interns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Social Work preferred.
- 2-4 years' experience working with adults or older adults, with program development experience preferred.
- Passion for working with the adult population.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin (spoken and written) preferred.
- Excellent computer and organizational skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Creative, innovative, and flexible, with a sense of humor a plus.

Hours:
Full-time, 35 hours per week.
