About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for supporting the advancement of AI/ML/Data Science technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments
  • Develop and maintain system administration scripts and automation tools
  • Ensure security and accreditation practices and procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operate enterprise digitization infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment
  • Experience patching and maintaining system databases, including RDS, MySQL, and Oracle
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems
  • Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization solutions
  • Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, cloud-security technologies, and Access Control (IAM)
  • Experience with configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Experience with security technologies, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field or equivalency in related work experience
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator
  • Experience using a scripting language
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications
  • Demonstrated ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $105,000 - $221,000
