Our Emergency Department is a level 2 trauma center, cardiac center, and comprehensive stroke center, providing exceptional care to our patients.
Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Graduate Nurses to join our team as Professional Staff Nurses. As a Graduate Nurse at UPMC Hamot, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning.
Responsibilities
- Provide highly competent patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning.
- Establish relationships with physicians, other care providers, patients, and patients' families to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the care delivery team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.

Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- UPMC approved national certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment.
- Good clinical judgment with critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
