Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. (Sunny Days) is a nationwide provider of Early Intervention services with over 25 years in the pediatric field.
Job OverviewWe have positions available for part-time employees and independent contractors seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity working within the pediatric population.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000 based on experience, location, and work status. Part-time employees can earn between $60-$70 per hour, while independent contractors can earn between $75-$85 per hour.
- Medical benefits are available to part-time employees.
- Eligible for direct deposit.
- May be eligible to earn NJ sick time.
- Paid admin time for part-time employees.
- May be eligible to participate in Sunny Days 401(k) plan.
- Part-time employees are covered under Sunny Days Workers Compensation and Professional Liability Insurance.

Responsibilities- Conduct developmental screening/assessments, provide occupational therapy services, and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family.
- Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child's specific developmental goals.
- Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and community settings.
- Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings.
- Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team.
- Prepare progress reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families.
- New Jersey Occupational Therapy (OT) license.
- Early Intervention Experience or Equivalent Experience.
- Pediatric Experience.
- Home-based service delivery experience (preferred).
- Strong clinical & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills.
- Technology proficient.
