Job Overview

A mid-size pump services and manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading blueprints, performing laser alignments, and balancing impellers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and repair pumps and pump-related equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and perform mechanical assembly of pumps on skid units.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and P&ID's.
  • Perform laser alignments and use dial indicators.
  • Balance impellers and drill and tap holes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of pump assembly/repair experience.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools up to 1 1⁄4" combination wrench's and 1⁄2" drive wrench sets.
  • Experience with laser alignment and dial indicators.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and P&ID's.
  • Capability to drill and tap holes.
