The IT Account Manager position at DOCUmation plays a crucial role in ensuring clients have a solid technology plan aligned with their business strategy.

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with business owners and managers, understand business strategy and planning, and provide consultative services in the best interest of the customer.

The incumbent works independently with general supervision, collaborating directly with client staff and management, both on-site and remotely. This role demands a high level of customer satisfaction, timely communication, and a commitment to ongoing education and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established operating procedures as outlined in the DOCUmation Manual.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and Best Practices Assessments.
  • Discuss findings with customers to provide input and suggestions.
  • Assist customers in making informed technology decisions to achieve short and long-term business goals.
  • Review project plans and complete project reviews.
  • Ensure timely communication with clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Continuously improve technical and customer service skills through education and certifications.
  • Build lasting relationships with operations/technical staff for each client.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Support sales personnel with technical inquiries.
  • Perform proof of concepts to identify optimal solution designs.
  • Educate prospective clients on proposed solutions.

Requirements:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive company image.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Implementation and support of wide-ranging technologies.

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with computers, networks, customer service, written and verbal communication, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking, teamwork, attention to detail, analytical thinking, time management, and working under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and crouching.
  • Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents.
  • Lifting and/or exerting force up to 50 pounds frequently.
