Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guitar maintenance and repair, as well as excellent communication skills. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

About You
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in instrument maintenance and repair, preferably with guitars.
  • You possess excellent technical skills and knowledge of guitar mechanics, electronics, and materials.
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair customer-owned instruments, including guitars, basses, and other stringed instruments.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as setup, adjustment, and cleaning of instruments.
  • Perform complex repairs, including electronic and acoustic modifications.
  • Assist in the maintenance of store inventory, including guitars, amplifiers, and other music gear.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues.
