Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Dresser Utility Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure the output meets Quality Control and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering/Supervisors to identify solutions and support the implementation of solutions.
  • Help identify problems with assemblies, generate Non-Conforming Material Reports to document issues.
  • Accurately report all labor transactions and provide daily/weekly status of projects within the work group.
  • Support ISO 9001:2008 internal audits, as well as ISO 9001:2008 re-certification preparation/audits.
  • Assemble, test, and box product from all product lines made inside the plant.
  • Utilize designated programs and fixtures for testing and validating functionality of products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail with minimum supervision within a defined task-scope.

Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending, and other physical activities.
  • Ability and willingness to be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required.
  • Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with basic hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
