Job Overview

Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to fill an immediate opening in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000, based on 40 hours per week and 8 hour shifts. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, benefits include paid sick leave, travel reimbursement up to $1,000, liability insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, and health insurance from day one.

Job Description

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' bodies. This involves confirming patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, explaining procedures to patients, positioning patients correctly, and calibrating equipment to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have at least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech). A Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is also preferred. Additionally, Rad Techs must have BLS certification, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
