The position of Flight Instructor at Tulsa Community College is a professional role responsible for teaching in an academic flight training environment.
Air traffic and weather information as well as flight planning, navigation, and communication will be covered. The instructor must have the ability to instruct students in aircraft systems, operating procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, airport operations, radio communications, and aerodynamics.
This position requires strict adherence to FAA regulations and approved training course syllabi. Additionally, this is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma Statute OKLA. STAT. tit. 63, * 427.8 (2020).
Qualifications- Must possess current FAA Flight Instructor certificates/ratings and current FAA Medical Certificate.
- CFII required.
- Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive community college.
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
