Role Overview

The Veterinary Technician position at our hospital is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, compassion, and excellent communication abilities. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with veterinarians and other staff to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures
  • Perform in-hospital treatments, including administering medications and therapies
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to clients and patients
  • Communicate with clients, answering questions and addressing concerns

Requirements

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent certification
  • 1+ year experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate and sympathetic demeanor
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
