About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assessment and Referral Clinician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing referrals and other requests for services, collaborating with physicians to determine proper dispositions, and providing technical assistance to the discharge planning process.

This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in a human relations field and at least two years' experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess referrals and other requests for services
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine proper dispositions
  • Provide technical assistance to the discharge planning process
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a human relations field preferred
  • At least two years' experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Georgia as a mental health professional, recommended
