At Alamance Community College, we are seeking a qualified Horticulture Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. This position will involve teaching horticulture courses during the day, evening, and/or hybrid as needed.

The successful candidate will have an Associate's degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Agricultural Education, or a related field. Additionally, they must possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience in an arboriculture-related job, such as a climber or plant health care specialist.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as the ability to implement strict safety protocols on a continual basis. The ideal candidate should also be able to operate equipment associated with horticulture-related courses.
