Director of Health Services Leader

At RiverWoods Exeter, we are seeking a skilled Director of Health Services Leader to oversee the nursing services and programs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in nursing within a long-term care facility and possess a nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university. Key responsibilities include planning, developing, and implementing nursing services, as well as participating in facility surveys and inspections. The successful candidate will also be responsible for making budgetary recommendations and maintaining budget variances. Additionally, they will work closely with the social service and wellness teams to coordinate the acceptance of residents for admission to the facility. The Director of Health Services Leader will be responsible for maintaining staffing needs, delegating administrative authority to nursing service supervisory personnel, and performing daily leadership rounds to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with a license within the State of New Hampshire and certified in medication administration and intravenous administration. CPR is also required.
