About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team as a Clinical Care Specialist in the ICU. As a member of our dynamic healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing individualized care and support that meets their unique needs and preferences. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care services, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess a current registration as a licensed RN in South Carolina or a compact state. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, but an Associate's degree will be accepted. You must also hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required for most nursing areas within the hospital. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time position offers a 12-hour shift schedule, with the possibility of rotating shifts.
