Aircraft Avionics Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics and Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our service center, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.
As an Avionics and Electrical Systems Specialist, you will demonstrate technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting. You will perform the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems on aircraft per Engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals ensuring a defect-free system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical tasks and troubleshooting to ensure quality and efficiency of all installations.
- Install and test electrical/avionics components and systems on aircraft.
- Ensure all work performed on the aircraft is properly and completely documented and ready for inspection.
- Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
- Comply with company safety regulations and programs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field.
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills.
