Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter and Assembler to join our team at Harvard Integrations LP. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and adjusting various component parts on units according to drawings and written customer specifications.

About the Job

This evening shift position requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and flexibility to work under production pressure. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the completion of jobs according to specified schedules and traveler documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret drawings or customer specifications to determine the position of unit component parts.
  • Position components and install fixtures using hand tools, assembly fixtures, and test devices.
  • Inspect products to verify that optional equipment changes have been made according to customer specifications.
  • Clean dust and dirt off building panels and electrical components.
  • Gather supplies and tools needed to complete jobs.
  • Drill and tap holes to install floor plates and thresholds.
  • Use grinders to grind knots off floor and panels prior to painting.
  • Complete work according to specified schedule and complete traveler documents in detail.
  • Verify correct paint colors are being used by reading drawing and customer specifications.
  • Assemble units and test units for proper performance using gauges, test lights, hand tools, and related electronic devices.
  • May install windows, door panes, handles, drains, or other accessories.
  • Clean up work area and return tools and supplies to appropriate places each day.
  • Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
Requirements
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under production pressure.
  • Ability to work in cooperation with other team members.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, work on knees for extended periods of time, work on ladders at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in enclosed spaces for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
