About the job Insurance Loss Control Specialist -
As an independent contractor for InsurSolv, LLC, you will conduct comprehensive inspections of commercial and residential properties to identify observable hazards associated with a risk. Your reports will summarize the physical characteristics, exterior measurements, general conditions, photographs, unusual hazards, and recommendations associated with each property.
The information gathered during these inspections is used by our client companies to determine whether a risk meets the carrier's eligibility requirements. As an inspector, you will be the 'eyes' for the insurance underwriter, who is generally confined to an office.
Insurance Loss Control Specialist Qualifications:
- Be an energetic individual capable of completing a high volume of insurance inspections.
- Hold VIITA Certification or have previous experience in construction, plumbing, electrical industries, life safety, firefighting, general contracting, or property management.
- Have a Microsoft Windows-based PC with Windows 10, Google Chrome or Edge, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.
- Be equipped with a digital camera or smartphone capable of interfacing with your PC.
