We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team at our Raleigh office. The ideal candidate will be available to cover shifts on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a strong ability to work assigned hours and maintain reliable transportation.

As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and producing high-quality images under all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate the MRI process to patients and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Position and sedate patients as necessary to capture clear images of the correct body area.
  • Monitor patients during scanning and maintain accurate records.
  • Document all procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program with an associate degree or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of job-related experience required, 2-5 years preferred.
  • Registered with AART.
  • MR Certification.
  • American Health Association BLS/CPR certification.
  • Ability to work as needed on Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on industry standards and location.
