RAPP Coordinator

Rising Ground is a leading provider of social services in New York City, dedicated to empowering individuals and families to overcome adversity and thrive. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RAPP Coordinator to join our team.

The RAPP Coordinator will work independently within a New York City public school, providing direct services to students and facilitating education and counseling around issues of relationship abuse, gender-based violence, and healthy relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, knowledge of intimate partner violence and adolescent development, and a commitment to practicing from a healing-centered, anti-oppressive stance.

• Provide individual, group, and crisis counseling to students
• Facilitate classroom workshops and develop trainings for staff, parents, and community
• Maintain accurate case files and work collaboratively with the RAPP team
• Participate in weekly individual and team supervision and complete related paperwork in a timely manner
• Opportunity to supervise MSW interns and contribute to the design and implementation of the RAPP summer program

• Master's degree in social work and LMSW required (within 6 months)
• Strong and diverse clinical skills, knowledge of intimate partner violence, and adolescent development and trauma
• Passion for incorporating reflective practice around issues of race, oppression, and intersectionality into clinical work
• Proficiency working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles
• Meaningful commitment to practicing from a healing-centered, anti-oppressive stance
• Ability to work with flexibility, independence, accountability, passion, and humor

Rising Ground offers a competitive salary range of $63,000 - $65,000, a hybrid work arrangement, and a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, vision, dental, PTO, and 401k matching.
