Income Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Income Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the administration of all income maintenance programs, ensuring that needy and eligible individuals receive the correct benefits in a timely manner. This role involves partnering with other supervisors to work collaboratively on program administration, personnel matters, and system functionality problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of income maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Review and disseminate policy updates to staff
• Problem-solve and facilitate staffing around client-related issues
• Manage unit to ensure department compliance with regulations
• Represent the department on various county and state committees
• Supervise directly and/or indirectly supervise all caseworkers within the unit of responsibility

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or associate degree with one year of experience in an income maintenance program with management experience
• Graduation from high school and two years of paraprofessional or clerical public contact experience with one year of experience in an income maintenance program and managerial experience
• Graduation from high school and three years of experience in an income maintenance program with managerial experience
• Equivalent combination of training and experience
