Quality Assurance Specialist

Selectek is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure equipment is manufactured to code. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience and a strong understanding of FMA, PPAP, SPC, and 5 WHY, 8D methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
• Conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance with industry certification and best practices
• Manage non-conformances and defect prevention
• Create work procedures, inspection, and test plans to improve quality

Requirements:
• BS or related certifications
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to travel to vendors sites - domestic and international

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and process improvement

Work Environment:
• 8AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday
• Business Casual work attire
• Occasional overtime expected

Pay and Benefits:
• $33.65/hour - $43.27/hour ($70,000 - $90,000 annual salary)
• 6 months temp to perm assignment
• No work from home/remote option
