About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide direct patient care. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' neuromuscular and skeletal functions, documenting progress, and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced professionals, contribute to program development, and provide training and guidance to students and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
  • Provide direct patient care, including physical therapy treatments and education
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Contribute to program development and implementation
  • Train and guide students, interns, and staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based Physical Therapy program
  • A current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or eligibility for licensure
  • Certification in Basic Life Support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Salary

$84,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
