Sales Consultant for Medical and Specialty Business

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Consultant to join our team at Warner Pacific Insurance in San Antonio, Texas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales goals by acquiring new group submission contracts, developing broker growth plans, and fostering active selling relationships with brokers and/or members.
Responsibilities- Maintain frequent and effective contact with brokers to increase sales of all product lines.
- Prospect inactive brokers to find new sales opportunities.
- Provide product and technology training for brokers and brokerage staff.
- Make outbound sales calls and follow-up calls to active and potential brokers.
In addition, the Sales Consultant will conduct training seminars/webinars describing the tools and opportunities available to them through Warner Pacific. Primary duties may include:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire new medical and specialty business through agents/brokers.
- Conducting agency training and assisting agents in the development of marketing plans and lead acquisition.
- Maintaining insurance licenses and meeting or achieving sales goals from new group submissions.
- Providing carrier/plan consultative services to brokers and/or members to assist with new purchasing decisions.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of Insurance Sales experience.
- Valid Texas life/health insurance license.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and foster positive, open communication channels with internal and external customers.
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000-$120,000 annually, based on work experience, education, and skill level.
