Senior Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Specialist to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Anderson. As a full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
The estimated salary for this position is around $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Role Overview: The Senior Care Specialist will assist residents in all aspects of their daily life, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with food service, including meal preparation and clean-up
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, including housekeeping and laundry duties
- Support behavior management and socialization activities for residents
- Participate in activities and events designed to promote resident engagement and well-being
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; knowledge and experience working with elderly preferred.
Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, ability to speak English in an understandable manner, and physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods.
Licensure/Certification: Certification required according to state regulations; must successfully complete Springhouse's/Arden Courts' training.
