Job Title: Clinical Unit Lead Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Unit Lead Nurse to join our team at CommUnityCare Health Centers. In this role, you will oversee the clinical support staff assigned to a unit, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality patient care.

About the Role:
  • Oversight of assigned staff, including establishment of work assignments and priorities, weekly review of timecards, and monitoring orientation of new hires.
  • Performing Nurse Manager-Operation (NMO) duties in the absence of the NMO.
  • Participation in Process Improvement strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  1. Direct and indirect patient care, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion of tasks.
  2. Patient triage and crisis management, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
  3. Leadership and mentoring of Charge Nurses and clinical staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  4. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality patient care and outcomes.
  5. Maintenance of licensure and certification requirements, staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.

You will be responsible for daily/weekly quality assurance checklists, including delegation of tasks to staff members. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, such as The Joint Commission and CommUnityCare Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum one year experience in the nursing field, demonstrating success in providing clinical care and nursing support.
  • Experience managing difficult patient/customer situations and directing staff to achieve common goals.
  • Significant knowledge of medical practices and procedures in a healthcare environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
