About the Role

The Flex Skills Trainer plays a vital role in this mission, providing vocational training to transition-aged youth and adults with disabilities. This position requires strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement work-based learning experiences that cater to individual needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with multiple disability program teams to ensure seamless implementation of programs like Project Life, Project SEARCH, and Aspire.
  • Assist participants in developing essential life skills, such as socialization, time management, and independence.
  • Conduct task analysis and provide training on proper work techniques to ensure successful job placement.

Salary: $18.25 - $18.98 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates' Degree with relevant experience in supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of disability support services and vocational training principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
