About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Transporter to join our team in the Radiology Department at Resurrection Medical Center. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from various radiology suites, ensuring timely and safe transportation while providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working area. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transporting patients to and from radiology suites using stretchers or wheelchairs
  • Assisting with darkroom duties, including preparing films and supplies
  • Ordering and stocking necessary supplies
  • Greeting patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner
  • Providing clerical support by answering phones, filing patient reports, and retrieving medical records

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent and hold a current BCLS (AHA) certification. Previous transportation experience is preferred, but not required. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Compensation and Benefits
