Job Description

As a Strategic Business Growth Specialist at Schenker & Co AG, you will be responsible for developing new marketing opportunities for existing and new customers that align with the company's objectives and plans globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain customer relationships to stay informed about their business objectives
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create and develop business opportunities/solutions for new or existing customers
  • Utilize customer knowledge to identify additional or new opportunities for the organization
  • Manage overall customer and agent relationships throughout the sales process
  • Serve as a single point of contact for worldwide affiliates, sales teams, internal air/ocean sales personnel, and agents
  • Qualify inquiries/bids against target market, core competency, revenue potential, company capabilities, and projected business forecast
  • Lead the RFP process, including solution design concepts, deadlines, supply added information, presentation, process/status tracking
  • Create written strategic action plans for customer management and agent expansion
  • Demonstrate ability to conduct a gap analysis of the current supply chain at customer sites and suggest potential improved operations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of success in business development or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
