About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Scheduler to join our team at ZoomCare. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and ensure that they are properly logged in the system.
  • Collect, verify, and communicate benefit details of patient insurance policy information during scheduling.
  • Educate patients on the insurance verification process and estimates of patient responsibility prior to their visit.
  • Confirm patient appointments and provide necessary information to patients, including appointment time, location, and any special instructions.
  • Manage patient records, including demographic information and necessary paperwork or questionnaires.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, appointment scheduling, or healthcare settings.
  • 1+ years of experience with EHR systems (athenaOne), preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
