Travel Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Richmond, Virginia

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated travel occupational therapist to join our team at All Medical Personnel - Therapy. As an occupational therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
About the JobThis is a full-time, 8-hour shift position, with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week. The pay package includes a weekly gross amount, which is estimated to be around $1,500-$2,000 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.
The job requires a graduate degree from an accredited school and a strong background in occupational therapy. You must also demonstrate a high level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
Job DescriptionAs an occupational therapist, your primary responsibility will be to plan, organize, and facilitate programs designed to help patients adjust to their new surroundings and improve their functional abilities. This may involve working with patients who have experienced physical or cognitive impairments, such as stroke or spinal cord injuries.
Your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
- Evaluating patient progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of patient interactions and outcomes
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution
- Licensure as an occupational therapist in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain)
- At least 1 year of experience as an occupational therapist, preferably in a travel setting
- Demonstrated expertise in program development and implementation
