We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Leadership Manager to join our team at Imperial Star Solar. This role is a crucial part of our production operations, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facility.

About the Role:

The Production Leadership Manager acts as the first level of management over the production workshop, assisting the VP of Production & Operations in the smooth operation of the facility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in Presiding Over Production Work: The successful candidate will assist in overseeing the production process, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Implementing Workshop Rules and Regulations: You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing workshop rules and regulations, maintaining a safe and productive working environment.
  • Maintaining Close Contact with Other Departments: You will work closely with other departments to strengthen collaboration and improve communication.
  • Assisting with Organizing and Implementing Production Equipment: You will assist in organizing, modifying, monitoring, and implementing production equipment, safety requirements, and production statistics.
  • Completing Production Plan Status Reports: You will assist in completing annual, quarterly, monthly, and daily production plan status reports.
  • Special Work Projects: You will assist with special work projects, including safety, management, labor, environmental, and other initiatives.
  • Collection of Production Statistics: You will collect and manage production statistics, ledgers, and statements, as well as workshop asset inventory.
  • Perssonel Schedule Management: You will manage personnel schedules to balance production capacity, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Training and Development: You will assist with training production employees, team leaders, and supervisors, as well as provide input for performance appraisals.
  • 6S Inspection and Planning: You will assist with inspection and planning of 6S in the workshop to improve overall KPI indicators, control quality, and ensure quality shipments.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree from a 4-year university is required.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, with fluency in Chinese/Mandarin also required.
  • Communication Skills: You will need acceptable proficiency in communication to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
  • Learning Ability: You will need the capacity to quickly learn required skills, such as basic office equipment and selected company software programs.
  • Analytical Skills: You will need ability to comprehend and interpret complex figures and text.
  • Teamwork: You must be a team player, able to work independently without supervision.
  • Multi-tasking: You will need ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

The work environment for this position includes enclosed offices and workshop production floors. Physical demands include walking, standing, reaching, and sitting on a regular basis, as well as lifting objects from one level to another, entering text or data via keyboard into a computer, seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hands, and hearing, understanding, and distinguishing speech and/or sounds.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (depending on experience)
