Job Overview

The Cypress Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Statistical Modeling Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data science group, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying predictive models that drive business growth.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned data scientist with expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, R, and Java 8, as well as experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop. They will be responsible for designing and implementing predictive models that can handle large datasets and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy predictive models using ARIMA, ARIMAX, and SARIMAX techniques
  • Work with batch and online learning systems to build real-time learning and training systems
  • Analyze data using Python libraries such as NumPy and SciPy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production environments
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Java 8
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
