Locums - Nashville area Family Practice or Med/Peds Hospitalist Job

  • Clinical Role:
    • A residency-trained hospitalist is needed for a locums opportunity in the Nashville area. The position requires experience in family practice or internal medicine/pediatrics, with a focus on adult and pediatric hospital care.
    • This nocturnist-only locum job opening offers flexibility in scheduling blocks, with a preference for full-time availability.
    • The average number of admits per night is around 6-7, mostly adults, with a low volume of pediatric admissions (approximately 1 per night).
    • Physicians work collaboratively with other providers at night, either an IM doctor and APP (cross coverage) or two APPs (admits and cross coverage).
    • Group remotely covers a small area partner hospital, but there is minimal volume (maybe 1 admit per night).
    • The EMR system used is CERNER.
    • RecruitWell will facilitate a phone call between the client and candidate to discuss further details.

    • Physicians will be working for a local hospital.
    • The location offers easy access to downtown and the airport, within a 40-minute drive.
