Advanced Excel Accounting Professional

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Modeler to join our team as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Service provider. This role will involve collaborating with accountants and CPAs to understand their business needs and requirements, utilizing advanced Microsoft Office tools to bring those needs to fruition.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex accounting models using Excel.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through process change and automation.
- Create sophisticated financial models with built-in reconciliations to translate complex accounting processes.
- Document models and processes supported by the Excel models.
- Develop improvements or new capabilities either within Excel or in conjunction with other data analytics tools and databases.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VBA.
- Able to pass a Federal background investigation.
- Knowledge of and experience in GAAP accounting.
- Strong understanding of data reconciliation or migration across various data platforms, formats, and technologies.
- Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work independently and with a team to solve problems.
- A self-starter: quick to learn and put new skills to use.
- Able to handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
- One plus years of experience with Python and/or Alteryx is highly desired.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
