CT Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our radiology team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Position patients accurately and comfortably for imaging procedures
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Participate in quality control measures to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
- Stay up-to-date with advances in CT technology and techniques through ongoing education and training
Requirements:
- AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least one year of experience in CT scanning or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
