Tax Compliance Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Tax Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tax-related activities for trust accounts. This includes preparing documentation, maintaining records, assisting in the preparation of tax returns, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
The Tax Specialist will work closely with CPA partners, trust administration, and other team members to provide seamless support in trust tax matters. During tax season, the successful candidate will be required to work extended hours (6 days a week) from February to April and September. Outside of tax season, the schedule may be less than full-time.
Requirements- A bachelor's degree in business, tax, or accounting is preferred.
- 2 years' experience in tax or accounting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate among internal departments and external tax professionals.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong research skills.
