Instructor, Watercolor Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Watercolor Painting Instructor to join our faculty at Guilford Technical Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching watercolor painting techniques to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Utilize current technology to enhance the learning experience in classroom and online environments
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success
• Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current in the field

• Master's degree in Fine Arts or a related field
• Teaching experience in watercolor painting or a related field
• Ability to adapt to changing procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
• Knowledge of art education software and technology
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
