Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Health Assessment Specialist to perform comprehensive medical evaluations of United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this role, you will review electronic medical records and conduct in-person physical exams to assess each Veteran's condition.

You will document your findings using a web-based portal, providing accurate and detailed information for the VA's evaluation.

Please note that as a Clinical Health Assessment Specialist, you will not make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all such decisions.

This position involves conducting assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, on average, and requires strong time management skills to meet requirements.

Requirements:

  • A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license is mandatory.
  • You should be proficient in using a computer and analyzing data from medical records and exam findings.
  • Familiarity with Independent Medical Assessments is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with Veterans.
