Job Title: Front Desk AgentAbout the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team at Howard Johnson I-Drive. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out Process: Greet guests, register and assign rooms, issue room keys/cards, and ensure all necessary information is collected and processed efficiently.
  • Payment Processing: Secure payment, verify and adjust billing, and compute bills while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Communication: Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve issues in a professional manner, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Maintenance of Records: Keep accurate records of occupied rooms, guest accounts, and any incident reports or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field (preferred)
  • 1-5 years of prior guest service experience in a hotel setting
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including ability to access and accurately input information
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Friendly, cooperative demeanor and patience when dealing with difficult guests
Work Environment:

The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced environment, often juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. They must be able to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain composure under pressure.

Salary Range:

$40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
