About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Language Arts Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you'll lead small classes in language arts, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Engaging Curriculum: Lead students in advanced language arts using company-created materials.
  • Engage Students: Foster student-led learning through interactive and collaborative approaches.
  • Classroom Management: Effectively manage up to 16 students, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Grade & Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback on tests and assignments.
  • Build Relationships: Connect with students, families, and colleagues to make a lasting impact on their educational journey.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; education or humanities field preferred.
  • Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar.
  • Experience teaching or tutoring students, preferably at the K-12 level.
Work Schedule

AoPS Academy operates as an afterschool program with classes in the evenings and on weekends. You must be available to teach during weekday after-school hours (as early as 4pm) and/or on weekends.
