Primary Care Provider for Underserved Communities

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Smith Arnold Partners in Manhattan, NY.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary care to patients in the underserved community, conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions, developing treatment plans, prescribing medication when appropriate, educating patients about healthy lifestyle choices, documenting notes in the EMR system, and ordering more comprehensive diagnostic tests and lab tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical exams to diagnose and treat various medical conditions
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Prescribe medication as necessary and stay up-to-date with current guidelines and best practices
- Educate patients on maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing chronic conditions
- Document all interactions and treatments in the EMR system
- Order additional diagnostic tests and lab work as needed
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner license, a Graduate of Accredited Masters Degree Program, a New York Nurse Practitioner license, and strong communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary of $130,000 to $150,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
