Responsibilities:
  • Directs the daily activities of certified nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensures policies and procedures are complied with by nursing personnel assigned.
  • Participates in admission, discharge, and transfers of residents as required.
  • Observes for changes in residents' status and notifies the physician and resident's family or representative.
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in practicing state.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or a graduate of an approved LPN program.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Current CPR certification.
