About the Job

This Cosmetic Surgery LPN Role involves working through the full patient experience, from pre-procedure to post-procedure, with opportunities to work in the surgery suite. You will be responsible for retrieving individual records, monitoring the collection and maintenance of patient records, and assisting with pre-operative and post-operative visits.

You will also prepare instruments, equipment, and operating rooms, chart patient progress, and provide support to physicians during procedures. Additionally, you will explain treatment procedures, medications, and physician instructions to patients and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve and maintain individual patient records
  • Monitor the collection, processing, and storage of patient records
  • Assist with pre-operative and post-operative visits
  • Prepare instruments, equipment, and operating rooms
  • Chart patient progress and prepare surgery notes
  • Provide support to physicians during procedures
Requirements:
  • A valid and current State LVN/LPN License
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
  • Sound clinical judgment regarding wound assessment and infection control
  • Ability to interpret instructions and write reports
  • Familiarity with MS Office, including Excel
