Orthopedic Surgeon Specialist

Job Overview
Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract position is designed to complement your current practice, offering a flexible schedule with a minimum of half a day per week or biweekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist services, both non-surgical and surgical, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries.
- Communicate with employers and take an active role in case management.
- Work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers to expedite return to work and functional restoration.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries.
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Medical Malpractice Insurance covering you while on site.
