Job Summary
Shoreline Vision is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Care Specialist to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our ophthalmologists in delivering top-notch eye care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Assist ophthalmologists in performing diagnostic tests, including dilation, refraction, and pressure checks.
- Record patient information, medical history, and current medications in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Perform general office duties, including cleaning and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one-year related experience and/or training preferred.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
