About the Role

As a Caregiver, you'll be responsible for providing assistive care to our residents, including Activities of Daily Living (ADL), recreational, and socialization. You'll work closely with our team to ensure our residents receive the best possible care. Some of the tasks you'll perform include:

  • Assist residents with ADL's, bathing, dressing/undressing, grooming, personal hygiene, incontinence care, etc.
  • Take vital signs as assigned.
  • Maintain controls of and administer prescribed medications and treatments for residents
  • Promote self-help and independence of residents by encouraging the maintenance or attainment of the highest physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
  • Perform first aid and initiate emergency response procedures as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Must possess, at a minimum, a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have current CPR/First Aid certifications
  • If required by your state of residence, completion of state approved Caregiver program
  • Must have certification of state approved Medication Aide program for the Med Tech position
