Hauppauge, New York, United States MRG Exams Full time

Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform disability assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Description

This role involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and performing comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.

You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.

The licensed psychologist does not make disability determinations; instead, the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all decisions using the findings recorded in the DBQs.

This is an in-person position that only performs disability assessments on Veterans, without treating or prescribing medication.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
  • An active and unrestricted psychology license.
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

Benefits

This opportunity offers a daily rate of $500+ plus malpractice insurance covered by MRG Exams, with health insurance options available.
