Job Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Mechanicsville, Virginia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while advancing your nursing career.

About the Position
  • Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
  • Discipline: RN
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights

This position requires one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse and other certifications may be necessary. Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with Physicians and Healthcare Team Members: Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
  • Administer Medications: Administer medications as ordered with proper documentation.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Supplies: Maintain the cleanliness of patient rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
Requirements and Benefits
  • Interpersonal Skills: Work effectively with various personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
  • Mental Requirements: Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
