Laundry Technician Job Summary

Montereau, a premier retirement community, is seeking a skilled Laundry Technician to join our team. As a Laundry Technician, you will be responsible for performing daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, and ironing resident personal garments and community linens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process laundry according to departmental guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain laundry equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
  • Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of commercial laundry experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures, infection control, and universal precautions.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push carts with loads up to 200 pounds.
